Who we are
UkayPH is a community marketplace operated for Filipino users. This page describes how we handle personal data and respond to legal requests, and is maintained by the UkayPH team to answer common privacy questions about the app.
Data we collect
- Account info: email, name, username, avatar, location, bio.
- Listings: titles, descriptions, categories, photos, prices.
- Messages you send to other users through the in-app chat.
- Shipping details you enter when you confirm a purchase.
How we use it
- To operate the marketplace: showing listings, delivering messages, and connecting buyers and sellers.
- To keep the community safe and enforce our Terms.
- To improve the product based on aggregate usage.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.
- We do not access private message content except when required by law or to investigate abuse reports.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us via the Help Center. Deletion removes your profile, listings, and messages from active views (some records may be retained for legal or fraud-prevention reasons).
Cookies
We use functional cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. No advertising trackers.
Governing law
These practices are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
