Beta platform disclaimer
UkayPH is a peer-to-peer secondhand marketplace currently in testing/beta mode. All transactions, payments, shipping, and disputes are handled directly between buyers and sellers. UkayPH and its administrators act only as a venue and are not a party to any transaction. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the quality or authenticity of items, or the conduct of any user. By using the Service, you acknowledge that UkayPH is not liable for any loss, damage, dispute, fraud, or injury arising from transactions between users.
By creating an account or using UkayPH ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent's consent.
- You are responsible for the security of your account and password.
- One account per person. Impersonation is not allowed.
2. Listings
- Only list items you legally own and have the right to sell.
- Photos and descriptions must be truthful and your own.
- Prices must be in Philippine Pesos and clearly stated.
3. Prohibited items
- Counterfeit or replica goods.
- Stolen goods, weapons, or illegal substances.
- Used undergarments, medical devices, or hazardous materials.
- Anything restricted by Philippine law.
4. Transactions
UkayPH is a peer-to-peer marketplace in beta/testing mode and is not a party to any transaction. Payment, shipping, and refunds are arranged directly between buyer and seller. We encourage using GCash or Bank Transfer with proof of payment. The platform administrators are not liable for any transaction, dispute, or loss between buyers and sellers.
5. Conduct
- Be respectful in chat. Harassment or hate speech is not tolerated.
- No spamming, scraping, or automated use of the Service.
6. Termination
We may suspend or remove accounts or listings that violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" during beta/testing. UkayPH is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any item listed by users. UkayPH is not responsible for any financial loss, fraud, shipping issues, or disputes that arise between buyers and sellers. Users transact at their own risk.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
